Dive Accident First Aid for Non-Divers

One of DAN Training's primary goals is to have oxygen and AEDs, and someone trained to use them, available at every dive site. This program makes it easier to train non-divers to provide that care in an emergency.

Any DAN Instructor who is eligible to offer the Diving Emergency Management Provider course can offer Dive Accident First Aid for Non-Divers. When looking for an instructor for this program in the Online Instructor List, you should look for any instructor capable of teaching the three component programs.

Program Objective
Train non-divers with an interest in dive safety to respond to dive emergencies in a single comprehensive package. Get more trained people at every dive site capable of recognizing a dive emergency and providing care.

  • 4 to 6 hours
